Greyter installed in West Beach Condos

Greyter Water Systems’ storm water re-use system has been installed in the new West Beach Condominiums project located in Toronto, Ontario. This boutique infill condominium project is located in the Queen St. E and Coxwell Ave. beach triangle area.  The building will feature street level retail, 89 residential units and a large rooftop terrace which will showcase spectacular views of Lake Ontario.

The project features a Greyter solution that treats and processes reclaimed storm water so that it can be re-used for toilet flushing and irrigation. Government policies have been reshaping the City of Toronto’s growth through strengthening greener initiatives in new developments. The incorporation of a storm water reclamation system in new developments exhibits the methods that developers are offering in order to create water-efficient communities. “Builders and developers are looking for solutions that can help them reduce water costs,” said Mark Sales, Co-Founder and CEO of Greyter Water Systems. “The Greyter system provides them with a solution by reclaiming incoming storm water before it is sent to the sewer,” he continued.

The West Beach project was designed by Graziani & Corazza Architects and developed by Marlin Spring Developments. Project Engineers are MV Shore Engineering Consultants and a number of subcontractors contributed to the construction of the project including Nekison Mechanical.
