As the relentless acceleration of global energy and water use continues unabated, effective resource conservation has become connected to national security priorities and global stabilization. As a result, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) “Net Zero” initiative for its bases is an industry standard for programs that procure water technology and incentivize technology improvements; and DoD’s needs for water in operational settings is driving further technology gains. Learn how DoD is responding to a challenging water future, and working with industry to achieve its goals. Understand some of the global challenges and possible opportunities for commercial engagement.
