Just days after the announcement of the most strict water restrictions in the history of the State of California, Greyter Water Systems was pleased to join the American Chemistry Council and a coalition of product manufacturers, stakeholders and other industry trailblazers, including the California Building Industry Association, for “Meeting the Challenge Together: Building an Energy Efficient California,” an event highlighting new and existing technologies that are helping California meet its ambitious energy and water efficiency goals. “Greyter’s mission has always been about creating water efficient communities,” said Mark Sales, CEO of Greyter. “Commercial and Residential buildings that adopt our water-reuse solutions have been able to reduce their overal water consumption by as much as 30-40%,” he continued. The company’s affordable out-of-the-box solutions have been installed world-wide. Greyter has been developing a residential product that it believes will be the first practical, affordable and efficient solution for collecting and treating shower and bath water so that it can be reused for flushing toilets. The product, called Greyter HOME is highly anticipated in California where harsh drought conditions continue to reak havoc.
