Greyter’s Residential HOME solution, that collects and treats greywater from tubs and showers so that it can be reused for toilet flushing, is showcased in John Bell’s home. The product was one of many technologies featured during the CaGBC’s Building Lasting Change Conference in June.
Bell gutted and retrofitted his home in order to reduce energy and water consumption. Not only does the Bell’s home feature the Greyter HOME solution it also showcases a high-velocity air handler, high-efficiency insulation, LED lighting, solar panels, and the Power-Pipe drain water heat recovery solution. As a result, the residence is using 30% less water and is saving over $300 per month in energy savings.
Greyter is excited to announce that in the fall of 2014, the GreyterHome will be featured within a model Home of one of America’s largest residential builders.
