Greyter Water Systems is Selected for the Lansing United Church

| Mark Sales

A Greyter Water System was selected to reuse stormwater at the Lansing United Church in Toronto, Ontario. This 4660 square meter (50,000 sq. ft.) facility underwent a large addition and renovation. The City of Toronto regulates storm water management and incentivizes water reuse. The church chose a Greyter Water System that allows them to use stormwater for irrigation. The Lansing addition and renovation was designed by the architects at J. David McAuley (JDM) and was professionally engineered by Jain and Associates. The construction of the project was divided into 2 parts, with the underground parking completed by THG builders and the above grade portion by Berkim Construction. Numerous sub-contractors contributed to the construction including LISI Mechanical. The Greyter Water Systems’ Solutions filters and treats rain and stormwater so that it can be used for irrigation. “Onsite water reuse has a significant role in helping reduce water flows to the storm water system in many areas throughout North America”, said Mark Sales, CEO of Greyter Water Systems. “We were delighted to have been selected for this exciting project” continued Mr. Sales.
