Greyter Reveals the Greyter HOME

| Greyter

April 22nd, 2016 – After much anticipation and years of development, the Greyter HOME water recycling solution was revealed at Greyter’s corporate offices on April 20th. The Greyter team and board of directors were joined by water recycling stakeholders along with family and friends to celebrate the unveiling of the Greyter HOME solution. The Greyter HOME recycles shower and bath water so that it can be reused to supply all of the water typically required to flush toilets.

The patent pending Greyter HOME is the first of its kind – an affordable, energy efficient water savings solution that is easy to install, capable of meeting water quality standards of major markets, while requiring little maintenance and a small footprint in the home. “This is an incredibly exciting day for us as we prepare to deliver a solution to builders and homeowners that will reduce water consumption within the home by 25-30%. It just makes NO sense to flush toilets with perfectly good drinking water and now with the Greyter HOME, you just don’t have to”, said John Bell, Co-Founder and Vice President – Residential Sales.

The Greyter HOME solution was designed to meet the NSF 350 standard for superior water quality and also allows for the reduction of hot water heating costs through drain water heat recovery. “Our goal is for builders and homeowners to love this product as much as they love their granite countertops and their hardwood floors. For this to happen, we engineered the Greyter HOME so that it not only delivers an extremely high water quality, but so that it also is affordable and requires little maintenance.” said Mark Sales, Greyter’s CEO. Certain components of the residential greywater system are similar to Greyter’s commercial buildings solutions. However, in order to meet reliability, and ease of use goals demanded by the residential market place, Greyter developed a proprietary filtration and treatment innovation that has been designed and tested within its patent pending Greyter HOME product. The Greyter HOME greywater system will be best installed in newly built homes and major renovations as the system requires plumbing to be installed from bathrooms to the system, usually located in the mechanical room of a basement or garage.
