Stormwater Reuse for a High-Performance Commercial Office
Aviva’s new 12-storey office tower, developed by Remington Group Inc., will house 1,500 employees in a state-of-the-art commercial space. To support sustainable water management, the building will integrate a Greyter water reuse system to treat and repurpose stormwater for flushing.
By leveraging an on-site stormwater retention tank, Greyter’s solution reduces potable water consumption while easing pressure on municipal stormwater infrastructure.
Reduce potable water consumption in a high-traffic commercial space
Comply with stormwater management regulations while minimizing site runoff
Integrate seamlessly with the existing stormwater retention tank
Optimize long-term operational costs by reducing reliance on municipal water
Treat stormwater collected from the building’s retention system for safe non-potable use
Supply treated water to flush toilets and urinals across 12 floors, significantly reducing potable water use
Cut infrastructure costs by leveraging the pre-existing stormwater retention system instead of relying solely on municipal water
We are excited to have been selected for this project. In circumstances like these, where stormwater is already part of the structure, there is a great opportunity to reduce the capital costs of the entire water reuse system.
