Greywater includes waste water from bath, lavatory, laundry, and sink, not including kitchen sink water. Reuse of greywater provides usable water that would otherwise be driven directly to the sewer. By collecting gray water for reuse we can reduce the use of potable water for non-potable uses (ie. Toilet flushing and irrigation) and conserve fresh water.

Greyter’s onsite water reuse systems are a valuable part of a broader strategy of creating water-efficient and water-resilient communities across the globe.

Benefits of onsite water systems include:

  • Treating water ONLY as needed for its proper end-use
  • Reducing potable water consumption for toilet flushing and irrigation
  • Reducing stormwater flows to combined and separate sewer systems and storm drains
  • Ensuring resilient and adaptable water and waste water infrastructure
